
Margarita Lumbreras is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate. She earned her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University and is well-versed in various therapeutic modalities, including family systems theory, emotionally focused therapy, narrative, and solution-focused therapy. A proud member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, Margarita is passionate about helping couples and families build strong, healthy relationships. Margarita has been with 988 since its launch and specializes in areas such as suicide, depression, anxiety, maternal mental health, and more. She firmly believes that everyone deserves to feel loved, supported, and connected, and she is committed to providing her clients with the tools and support they need to achieve that, inspiring hope and fostering a sense of possibility.
She graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Margarita moved to North Carolina four years ago from Las Vegas, NV, where she was born and raised.
In her free time, Margarita enjoys spending quality time with her husband and four children, sobbing and laughing at Romcoms, and indulging in delicious food.
