
Rebecca Carrington is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) with a Master of Science in Social Work with a specialization in Gerontology from the University of Tennessee. With a variety of experience working with older adults in the healthcare world, including therapy, home health care, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities, Rebecca is dedicated to helping individuals struggling with challenges such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment to life changes. Utilizing a compassionate and empathetic yet cognitive approach, Rebecca works with her clients to teach coping skills and better understand their thoughts and behaviors. She strives to create a comfortable environment for clients to feel safe sharing and exploring their thoughts, while also examining how these thoughts can influence their behaviors and emotions. By empowering her clients to build resilience and develop healthy coping strategies, Rebecca aims to support them in achieving a greater sense of self-awareness and emotional well-being. When not working, Rebecca enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her dog, family, and friends.
